Emergency Service Clinician– We are currently seeking a full-time Emergency Service Clinician to join our progressive, professional, client-oriented team. WestVet is the only small animal emergency and specialty hospital in Idaho. We have recently moved into our brand new 32,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility and our fast paced emergency service is rapidly expanding.
Technician Assistant (Emergency Department)- Our technician assistants provide support to our licensed veterinary technicians and veterinarians. Ideal candidates will possess great multi-tasking skills and thrive in a fast paced work environment. If you have the desire to work in the veterinary field, are a quick learner and self starter, and can multi-task this may be the position for you. Major duties include patient restraint for various procedures & treatments, set up and sanitizing of patient kennels/beds, stocking of medications/supplies, maintaining a clean hospital, and assisting technicians with the care of their patient.
Client Service Technician (Emergency Department)- Client Service Technicians (CSTs) acts as a client liaison, maintaining communication between the client and doctor while providing the highest level of customer service. This position requires a very organized, dependable individual. The CST walks our clients through the hospital process by triaging incoming patients, obtaining patient history & vitals, explaining detailed treatment plans, and admitting patients into our hospital.
Veterinary Technicians- Compassionate critical thinkers wanted! We are looking for experienced, skilled veterinary technicians for our surgery and emergency departments. If you thrive in a fast paced work environment where you can utilize your multi-tasking skills this may be the position for you. License preferred but will consider equivalent work experience.
Client Care Specialist– We are looking for teams members with superior client service skills to assist and communicate with our clients compassionately and effectively at our front desk. This position requires practical knowledge of hospital organization, services, veterinary terminology, medical records, and financial policies/transactions. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential for success in this role.
Physiotherapy Technician– We are seeking an experienced technician in our expanding Physical Therapy department to assist our new PT veterinarian, Dr. Megan Lefave with treatments including acupuncture, therapeutic laser, and hydrotherapy (water treadmill). Come be a part of this great team helping to decrease pain, restore mobility, and improve the quality of life of our canine and feline patients. Licensed veterinary technicians, experienced veterinary assistants, or human physical therapy assistants preferred. Extensive knowledge of canine and feline anatomy and physiology a plus.
Emergency Service Clinical Manager– We are currently seeking a Clinical Manager for our fast paced emergency department. The ER Clinical Manager is a key contributor to WestVet’s administrative team, providing leadership and supervision to our ER support staff team. The ER Clinical Manager helps to set, uphold, and review standards of patient care, technical procedures, and communication. Ideal candidates are be team oriented, possess excellent communication skills, thrive in a fast paced environment and be dedicated to providing the highest of quality veterinary care. Veterinary and supervisory experience required.
